A word from CHEN Li

“In life, I am a very introverted person, out of step with reality and relatively lonely. Many of my ideas cannot be communicated to those around me. Many people either feel that I am wordy or not interested in my ideas. But the surrealistic style allows me to find a way of expression that suits me very much, and it has created a lot of space for me. In this space, I can give full play to my imagination and chatter all kinds of unrelated social elements, cultural elements and humanistic elements. They are reorganized on the canvas, framed and spliced, so that they can be organically combined to create a world of my own.”
